HISTORY: SFC Rogers was born in Pageland, SC a son of the late Wade Hampton and Nell Lee Rogers. He was a retired Sergeant First Class U.S. Army Veteran with 20 years of service, having served in the Vietnam Conflict. SFC Rogers was a member of the Special Forces Unit, and received numerous medals and commendations, including the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Parachute Badge, the Presidential Unit Citation, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palms. He was also a retired employee of Willamette Industries Inc.

Sister: Diane R. Pope of Pageland, SC
