HISTORY: Mrs. Deason was born June 30, 1944 in Pageland, SC, a daughter of the late James Hoyle and Edna Louise Price Wallace. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of Srewmatics of SC. Mrs. Deason was a faithful charter member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher, Clerk, Treasurer, Missions Secretary, and Choir member. Shirley enjoyed spending time in the mountains and coloring and playing with her great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James M. "Hank" Deason, and by her two brothers, James "Pete" Wallace and John H. Price.
