VISITATION: is 6:00 - 8:00PM, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Griggs was born March 14, 1950 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Roy and Mary Lee Lewis Gulledge. She was a homemaker and member of Cross Branch Baptist Church. Mrs. Griggs was an auxiliary member of the Patrick VFD. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, collecting antiques, and working in her flowers. In addition to her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert L. Gulledge.

4 Sons: John Russell Griggs, James Calvin Griggs, Rodger Clifton Griggs, and Harvey Scott (Melissa) Griggs all of Patrick, SC
1 Brother: Randy Gulledge of Sanford, NC
2 Sisters: Wanda Melton of Bethune, SC and Linda (Jessie) Sellers of Patrick, SC
5 Grandchildren: Amber Griggs, Tory Griggs, Zackery Griggs, Johnathan Griggs, and Sara Griggs
