Shirley Linton Burr

Ms. Shirley Linton Burr, age 67, entered into rest on Friday, November 17, 2017. Graveside Services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Tommy Gaskin. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 PM Sunday prior to the service at the church.

Ms. Burr was born December 28, 1949 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of Charles “Linsie” Linton and the late Elzy Rae Melton Linton. She was a retired employee of Pageland Sand Company with over 20 years of service and a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. A loving mother and grandmother, Shirley’s favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Shirley was also preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Brown and brother, Johnny Linton.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise (Robert) Barefoot of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Hunter and Ty Barefoot both of Hartsville, SC; father, Linsie Linton of Chesterfield, SC.
