Steven B. Baker

Mr. Steven B. Baker, age 55, entered into rest on Saturday, December 22, 2018 with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Matt Neisler. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.

Mr. Baker was born April 3, 1963 in Perryton, TX a son of Peggy Ann Barrett and the late Bobbie Ray Baker. A graduate of Monroe High School, Steven was a former employee of Charlotte Plastics. Steven worked for many years as manager and cook with K-Bob’s restaurant in Pageland and was the former owner and operator of Carolina Landscaping and Tree Company. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered as a giving, selfless person who was a friend to all.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Cora Marie Nickerson-Baker of the home; children, Justin (Lindsey) Hannah of Lancaster, SC, David (Crystal Langley) Nickerson of Jefferson, SC, Lee Ann (Corey McManus) Nickerson of Pageland, SC, and Michael (Abbi Lang) Nickerson of Cheraw, SC; mother, Peggy Ann Barrett of T or C, New Mexico; grandchildren, Ryan, Alexis, Trevor, Arianna, Abigail, Bentson, Ryler, and Roxanna; 2 sisters, Val (Bob Burley) Baker of Tyrone, OK, and Ann (Rick) Price of Kempner, TX; also numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
