Mr. Steven Michael Hooks, Jr., age 45, entered into rest on Saturday, October 3, 2020. A Celebration of Steven's life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Jefferson - Pageland Dragstrip, 3167 Peach Orchard Road, Jefferson, SC.

Mr. Hooks was born February 1, 1975 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Steven Michael Hooks, Sr. and Mary Moser Nancie. He was an employee of Watson’s Paint and Body and formerly worked in construction. Steven enjoyed drag racing, and supporting Watson Racing at the Jefferson-Pageland Dragstrip, where he was a member of the Pit Crew. He was an avid Carolina Panthers fan and USC Gamecocks fan. Steven was an outdoorsman, always working or building something.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hooks was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Carol Wilder.

Survivors include his children, Starr Hooks, Sheldon Hooks, and Dustin Hooks; grandchildren, Gabriel Harvey, Madelyn Harvey, River Harvey, and Haze Kuhlman; sisters, Pamela Denise Snead, and Susan Renee Hooks; family of the heart, Jamey (Angie) Watson of Jefferson, SC; and close friends, Kenneth Bryson, and Raymond Griffin both of Jefferson, SC.
