FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2009 at Sandy Plains United Methodist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: will be 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church

HISTORY Miss Vaughn was born September 4, 1917 in Anson County, NC, a daughter of the late Evan "Duncan" and Rosa Adams Vaughn. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. Miss Vaughn was a lifelong member of Sandy Plains United Methodist Church. Susie loved sports, and was an avid Dodgers fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Lizzie Short, Bernice Griggs, and Geneva Short; her three brothers, J.B. William, and Sam Vaughn; a niece, Elizabeth Eddins; and two nephews, Harold and Boyce Griggs.

2 Nieces: Sue V. (Steve) Barbee of Richfield, NC, and Kay V. (Dewayne) Holmes of Dunn, NC
