VISITATION: will be from 11:00 - 12:00 Tuesday, December 23, 2014 prior to the service at the church

HISTORY: Mrs. Kirkley was born May 3, 1929 in Jefferson, SC a daughter of the late Burkett C. and Rosa Poston Johnson. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Long Branch Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU, VBS, and was instrumental in organizing the Acteens of the church. Mrs. Kirkley enjoyed gardening, and sharing her vegetables with friends and neighbors. Mrs. Sybil was married to the late J. Broadus Kirkley, and was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Linda Price; 4 brothers, Perry, James Heyward, Gerald, and Ronnie Johnson; and by 1 grandson, Matthew Hargrove.
