FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M Saturday, June 15, 2013, prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mrs. Gaskins was born October 31, 1941 in Ruby, SC, a daughter of the late Lloyd Marion and Susie Horne Baker. She was a graduate of Ruby High School and was owner and operator of Berniece's Beauty Salon. Mrs. Gaskins was also a retired postal clerk with the US Postal Service. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Berniece loved jewelry, shopping, dining out, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Berniece was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Gayle Gaskins.

Husband: Joel N. Gaskins of the home
3 Sons: Chris (Jackie) Gaskins and Jay (Erica) Gaskins of Ruby, SC and Lane (Ann Kelly) Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC
5 Grandchildren: Grant and Genna Gaskins and Jayden, Jerica, and Jayson Gaskins
1 Sister: Peggy Baker Porter of Monroe, NC
