Sylvia J. Stepp

Pageland, SC

          Mrs. Sylvia Jordan Stepp, age 84, entered into rest on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2023 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:00-12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

          Mrs. Stepp was born July 4, 1938 in Pageland, SC the daughter of the late Carson and Maggie Oliver Jordan. Sylvia enjoyed watching the news and was a graduate of Ruby High School. She also enjoyed spending time with her church family. Mrs. Stepp loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stepp was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Stepp; grandson, Brent Eubanks; sister, Doris Whitaker; brothers, Zeb Jordan Sr., and Carrol Jordan.

          Survivors include her daughter; Robin (Phil) Long of Pageland, SC; son Stuart (Beth) Stepp of Ruby, SC; sister, Rae J. Faile of Jefferson, SC; granddaughter, Falan (Kelly) Martin of Indian Trail, NC; grandson, Evan (Ellysse Moss) Stepp of Atlanta, GA, and great granddaughter, Payton Oliver of Indian Trail, NC.

          In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
