FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Welsh was born December 2, 1933 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Bruce Franklin and Mildred Gaskins Douglas. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School Class of 1951. Mrs. Welsh was a lifelong member of Chesterfield Baptist Church and was a member of the Elizabeth Rivers Sunday School Class. Sylvia retired from the Chesterfield County Auditor's Office with 35 years of service. After retirement, she volunteered at the Sunshine Shop as long as she was able.
