Mrs. Sylvia Curtis McGee, age 80, entered into rest on January 4, 2018. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by the Honorable Rev. Richie Yow and Rev. Mike Williams with burial to follow in the David’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. McGee was born September 26, 1937 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Legett Roland and Lena Tucker Curtis. Sylvia, along with her husband, was the owner and operator of Pee Dee Pallet & Repair. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. McGee enjoyed working in her yard, traveling and camping at Ocean Lakes, and spending time with her beloved husband.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Willie David McGee; 2 brothers, Julian and Larry Curtis; and sister-in-law, Jean Curtis.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia McGee Haynes of Cheraw, SC; 2 sons, David Wayne McGee of Cheraw, SC, and Robert Lynn (Karen) McGee of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Haynes of Cheraw, SC, and Hillary and Ryan McGee of Lexington, SC; brother, Bill Curtis of Chesterfield, SC; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Curtis of Ruby, SC and Shelby Jean Curtis of Chesterfield, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
