Mrs. Thelma S. Clinkscales, age 85, died Saturday, July 2, 2016. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC by Pastor John L. Melton, III. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Clinkscales was born September 21, 1930 in Wallace, SC a daughter of the late James and Alma Hatcher Seals. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School and a member of Wallace Baptist Church. Mrs. Clinkscales was a retired employee of Trans South Finance Company. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, William Thompson “Tom” Clinkscales, Sr.; 3 brothers, Billy Seals,USMC, James “Harry” Seals, Roger Seals; and 1 sister, Eleanor Rhea.

Surviving are her children, William T. “Tommy” Clinkscales, Jr. and wife Lisa of Wallace, SC, Martha Winsch and husband Larry of Rock Hill, SC, Timmy Clinkscales and wife Denise of Wallace, SC, Cindi Brigman and husband Charles, and Don Clinkscales all of Cheraw, SC; her 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her brother, Henry Seals and wife Nell of Summerville, SC; and her nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Clinkscales to Wallace Baptist Church, 4174 Hwy. 1, Wallace, SC 29596
