Mr. Thomas M. “Tommy” Watson, age 69, entered into rest on September 5, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service with Masonic Rites will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2017 at Wolf Pond Baptist Church by Rev. Mark Evans and Mr. Carroll Jenkins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Watson was born May 31, 1948 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Bill and Nancy Myers Watson. He was a retired employee of Teledyne Allvac with over 30 years of service. Mr. Watson was a life-time member and Past Master of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #58 AFM, a life member of the Pageland Fire Department with 33 years of service, and U.S. Army Veteran. Tommy’s hobbies included camping, horseback riding, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Watson.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jill C. Watson of the home; 2 daughters, Angie (Mitch) Anderson of Pageland, SC and their children, Sydney and Hunter; Amanda (Dave) Rushing of Weddington, NC and their children, Nathan and Ava; brother, Calvin (Rebecca) Watson of Marshville, NC; and sister-in-law, Tonie (Tim) Ayers of Pageland, SC and their children, Kyle (Felicia) Ayers, Dawson and Bryce.
