Timothy Stephen Holdredge, MD

          Dr. Timothy Stephen Holdredge, MD, age 67, entered into rest on Friday, June 30, 2023. The family will hold a private celebration of life service at a later date.

          Dr. Holdredge was born October 24, 1955 in Gainesville, GA a son of the late Ronald Frank Holdredge and Ann Keene Holdredge/Reeves. He grew up in Winder, GA and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, and his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Upon completing his residency at the Augusta VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA, Dr. Holdredge practiced Emergency Medicine in Presque Isle, Maine before making his home in Cheraw, SC and joining Chesterfield General Hospital (McLeod Health – Cheraw) where he practiced Emergency Medicine until his passing. He was a man of few words who loved his family and profession dearly. In his spare time, he also enjoyed “tinkering” with any and everything he could get his hands on.

          In addition to his parents, Dr. Holdredge was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Grace “Meg” Holdredge.

          Survivors include his daughter, Marianne Holdredge Henson and husband, Daniel Leslie Henson, III of Statham, GA; sons, Ronald Lee Holdredge of Orlando, FL, Eric Stephan Ross and wife, Lissette of Alto, NM, and son, Jacob Daniel Ross of N. Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Sebastian S. Ross, Kaia Ross, and R.J. Ross; siblings, Michael Holdredge and wife Daphne of Newnan, GA, Dr. Terry Holdredge and wife, Susan of Anderson, SC, Daniel Holdredge and wife, Kathy of Winterville, GA, and Anne Maureen Cargile and husband, Gary of Wilmington, NC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter of one’s choosing.
