Mr. Tommie David Tarlton, age 62, entered into rest Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his home with his family by his side. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Steven Tarlton and Rev. Troy Watkins with Masonic Rites being offered by the Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Tarlton was born February 8, 1957 in Hartsville, SC a son of Margie Dean Tarlton and the late Junior Tarlton. He was formerly employed with Windsor Windows and was the retired manager of the Mt. Croghan Flea Market. Tommie was a faithful member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and was also a member and past-master of the Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314. He loved the Lord, his children & grandchildren, and spending time with his family. An avid outdoorsman, Tommie also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising his goats and chickens.

In addition to his father, Mr. Tarlton was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Thompson; and an infant brother, David Tarlton.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Dolly Lee Tarlton of the home; children, Dallas (James) Thompson of Jefferson, SC, Daniel Tarlton of Mt. Croghan, SC, Derrick (Dana) Tarlton of Chesterfield, SC, and Brian (Lisa) Medlin of Monroe, NC; mother, Margie D. Tarlton of Jefferson, SC; grandchildren, Ashley Tarlton of Chesterfield, SC, Logan Tarlton of Jefferson, SC, Dalton Medlin, Allison Laney, Jade Laney all of Monroe, NC, Brittany Burgess of Chesterfield, SC, and Victoria Thompson of Rockingham, NC; brothers, Lester (Susan) Tarlton, Freddie (Barbara) Tarlton, and Edward (Annette) Tarlton all of Jefferson, SC; sisters, Diane Mangum of Jefferson, SC, Faye (Rev. Troy) Watkins of Mt. Croghan, SC, Judy Small of Peachland, NC, and Hope (Kenny) Barrett of Jefferson, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their thanks to Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield for the excellent love and care shown to Mr. Tarlton, and suggests that memorials be made to Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chestefield, 205 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
