DECEASED: Mr. Tommy H. Sanders, age 50, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at his home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Friday August 1, 2008 at Cross Branch Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Sanders was born November 22, 1957, in Bennettsville, SC, a son of Virginia Dew Berry and the late Ed Sanders. He was a welder with Ox Bodies. Mr. Sanders attended Westside Baptist Church. Tommy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Henry Mumford and Sarah Frances Dew Jackson, a son, Thomas Freeman and by a sister Sheila Bell Mumford.

Wife: Donna Crowley Sanders of the home.

3 Sons: Thomas Sanders, Brad Sanders, and Mitch Deaver all of Cheraw, SC

3 Daughters: Michelle Parr of Port Charlotte, FL, Robin (Jack) Herndon of Bennettsville, SC, and Macy Sanders of the home.

4 Grandsons: Matthew and Timothy Lawrenson and Mark and Caleb Herndon

Mother: Virginia Berry of Bennettsville, SC

1 Brother: Tony Mumford of Bennettsville, SC

5 Sisters: Louann Mumford, Linda Murad, and Pam Chavis of Bennettsville, SC, Margaret Griggs of Wallace, SC, and Norma Strickland of McColl, SC
