HISTORY: Mr. Funderburk was born September 3, 1934, in Jefferson, SC, a son of late Willis Hazel Funderburk and Annie Coppedge Funderburk. He was a 1951 graduate of Wingate College and attended the University of South Carolina. Mr. Funderburk was the retired owner of Gammax Inc, and was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He served the Town of Jefferson as former Mayor and Council Member, and was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. In addition to his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by his sister, Pat Funderburk Hogan.
