Mr. Tony M. Hamilton, age 59, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2017, from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Harold Cooke and Rev. Charles Terry with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Hamilton was born October 20, 1957, in Monroe, NC, a son of the late John David Hamilton and Edith “Ms. Bill” Hamilton Vaughn. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired employee of Chesterfield Webbing. Tony was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where he was a former member of the Cemetery Committee and the groundskeeper for many years. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Hamilton enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Bobby Dean Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Annette Bowers Hamilton of the home; 2 sons, John Michael (Amanda) Hamilton of Conway, SC and James Scott (Allyson) Hamilton of Surfside Beach, SC; grandchildren, Asher Wyatt Hamilton, Devyn Cole Long, Hayley Rae Barker, Reese Lorrene Parick; brother, Johnny (Carolyn) Hamilton of Mt. Croghan, SC; uncle, Charles (Grace) Hamilton of Charlotte, NC; nephews, Robert Hamilton and David Hamilton and his children, Zachary and Xander; special great niece, Megan Suzanne Deese; and his beloved pets, cat, "Miss Prissy", and dog, "Wolf".
