Mrs. Tressie Mills Johnson, age 90, entered into rest on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the home of her son. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Fairview Baptist Church by Pastor Harold Cooke and Phillip Caulder, Jr. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born March 29, 1926 in Pageland, SC a daughter of the late David Lee and Carrie Jordan Mills. She was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Tressie was also preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Johnson; brothers, Curtis Lee, Johnny B., and Benny Ray Mills; sisters, Lessie Hammonds, Bessie Price, Minnie Mae McCorkle, and Roxie Mills Joplin.

Survivors include her children, Orie Lee (Violet) Johnson of Hartsville, SC, Thomas Lee (Kathy) Johnson of Lancaster, SC, Jerry Lee (Margie) Johnson of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Ricky (Sue) Johnson of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren; brother, Joe Lee (Bernice) Mills of Kannapolis, NC; sister, Essie Wallace of Pageland, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
