MEMORIAL SERVICE: is 11:00 AM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Bessemer City, NC with Pastor Tom Ravan officiating

VISITATION: family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Family Life Center

HISTORY: Troylene was born January 19, 1946 in Mecklenburg County a daughter of the late Troy Melvin Hunsucker and Paula Melton Hunsucker-Compton. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Bessemer City. Troylene was an avid traveler and a creative person. She loved her family, people, flowers, and her church. She will be missed by many. Troylene was a graduate of Chesterfield High School. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Robert "Bill" Merrill, Sr., and by her grandparents who helped to raise her, John and Emma Griggs Moore.

1 Brother: Carl Compton Jr. land wife Nancy,
2 Sisters: Cara Rollings and husband Eric and Barbara Lee and husband Robert
Grandchildren: Trey Merrill, Ericka Chabot, and Alyssa Mishler
Great Grandchild: Mason Tyler Merrill
Also 2 Nieces and 4 Nephews
