Mr. Turner Davis, age 83, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 1, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Teal Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis was born January 30, 1938 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late James Frank “Jim” and Mae Teal Davis. He was a retired employee of Chesterfield County Road Department. Following his retirement, Turner continued working as a truck driver in the logging business for different individuals. He was a member of Brock’s Mill V.F.D. A man who never met a stranger, Turner enjoyed visiting and socializing with neighbors and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was also preceded in death half-sisters, Marie Craven and Flora D. Moore; and half-brothers, Lucious Davis and Junious Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Christine Teal Davis of the home; daughters, Kitty (Bill) Baker and Liza Davis (Michael, Jr.) Hudson both of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Joshua (Lisa) Baker, Jennifer Baker; great grandchildren, Kayla Hancock, Jordan Hoffman, A.J. Driggers, Dalton Hudson, Michaela Hudson, Averi Hudson; great-great grandchild, Brantley Baker; sister, Mary Glynn Davis Johns of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
