HISTORY: Mrs. Jordan was born May 17, 1953 in Statesville, NC a daughter of the late Ross Bowie and Catherine Moose. She was a retired employee of North Star Leather and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jordan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, working in her yard and flowers, and riding motorcycles. In addition to her parents, Vanessa was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Bowie.

Husband of 44 years: Bobby Jordan of the home
3 Sons: Bobby Ellis (Brenda) Jordan of Hartsville, SC, James (Donna) Jordan of Patrick, SC, and Michael Jordan of Patrick, SC
5 Grandchildren: Cody Jordan, Kelsey Jordan, Hannah Jordan, Michael Joplin, and Adian Jordan
2 Brothers: Robert Bowie of Statesville, NC and Johnny (Virginia) Bowie of Harmony, NC
2 Sisters: Cathy Bowie of Statesville, NC and Carolyn Constantine of Jackson, NJ
