DECEASED: Mrs. Vera Goodwin Kimery, age 84, died Sunday, March 27, 2016.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2015 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens

HISTORY: Mrs. Kimrey was born January 20, 1932, in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Henry Frank and Lillie Hilliard Goodwin. She was a homemaker and a member of North Cheraw Baptist Church. She enjoyed growing pretty flowers. Vera also enjoyed her trips to McBee, SC for peaches and her trips to the mountains for apples and cabbage, which she and her husband shared with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Vera was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Douglas Houston Kimrey, her son-in-law, Mike White, and by a brother, Curtis Goodwin.

Daughter: Sheila Kimrey White of Winston Salem, NC
4 Grandchildren: Michael (Hillary) White, Jr., William Wesley White, Ashley (David) Drummond, and Houston (Sarah) Kimrey Also 7 Great Grandchildren
2 Brothers: Henry F. 'Jay' (Shirley) Goodwin of Franklin, VA and Harold Goodwin of McNeill, MS.
1 Sister: Blanche G. Allen of Hartsville, SC
