HISTORY: Mrs. Rogers was born November 27, 1935 in Monroe, NC a daughter of the late Spofford and Lula McCoy Mills. She was a former textile employee and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Virgie was also preceded in death by a brother, William Mills and by a sister, Virginia Starnes.
