FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: to follow in the Mt. Croghan Memorial Park

VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Carroll was born July 29, 1923 in Mt. Croghan, SC a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Maude Smith Tucker. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a member of Mt. Croghan Baptist Church. Virginia enjoyed crocheting, painting, floral arranging, and working in her flower gardens. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Emory Carroll, five brothers; Claude, James, Robert, John Gary, and Benjamin Tucker, and by three sisters; Amogene Guinn, Mildred Evans, and Gladys Moore.

2 Sisters: Margaret T. Roth of Lincoln, NE and Rachel T. Neal of Matthews, NC
