Mrs. Vivia Mae Williams, age 63, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Westfield Creek Baptist Church by Pastor Jason Pope and Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the sanctuary of the church.
Mrs. Williams was born February 2, 1954 in Nunda, NY a daughter of the late Walter Ross Baylor and Betty Elaine Luckenbach. She was a loving homemaker and member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams enjoyed traveling, shopping, fishing, and working in her garden. Vivia, along with her husband Gerald, had a special place in their hearts for foster care and opened their hearts and home to numerous children throughout the years. Her love for God, family, and her friends will be a lasting memory to all who knew her.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 33 years, Gerald S. Williams of the home; children, Christopher Eugene McClinic and his wife Lameshia of Alexander, NY, Gerald Stephen Williams, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Charleston, SC; foster daughter, Brittany Hinton; grandchildren, Chris McClinic, Jr., Jalliyah McClinic, Camereon McClinic, and Katelyn Williams; brothers and sisters, Shirley Harrington of Perry, NY, Mark Baylor of Bergen, NY, Jeff Baylor of Pavilion, NY, Dan Hardy of Orlando, FL, Dianne Gray of NY, and Sandy Hardy of Pavilion, NY.
