Vivian Horne

Mrs. Vivian Sellers Horne, age 87, formerly of Chesterfield, SC, entered into rest on Friday, November 25, 2016 at her home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Thompson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Horne was born August 6, 1929 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Hardy James Sellers, Sr. and Ruth Davis Sellers. She was a member and past president of Zonta International. Mrs. Horne was a member of Shandon United Methodist Church of Columbia and was also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Vivian is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Horne; 1 grandson, Joshua Horne; and 1 brother, Ralph A. Sellers.

Survivors include her son, Art (Cindy) Horne of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, James William (Jessica) Horne of Texas, Jennifer Horne of Virginia Beach, VA, Dominic Horne and Sarah Horne both of Laurens, SC; 1 great grandchild, Johannah Horne; brother, Jack Sellers of Hopkins, SC.
