Vivian Vianthia Gregory

Mrs. Gregory was born November 25, 1955, daughter of the late Raymond and Shirley Polson. Vivian was the former Chief of the Oak Island Volunteer EMS, a member of the Yaupon Beach Fire Department, and was a founding member of the Yaupon Beach Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She loved riding motorcycles, riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway, bowling, cooking, baking, soap opera's, crocheting, and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Gregory; three children, Donald Blackwell and wife Candace, Scott Blackwell and wife Tonya, and Christy Snapp and husband Joseph; seven grandchildren, Alyssah McClary, Christopher Blackwell, Colby Blackwell, Zachary Blackwell, Emma Snapp, Jojo Snapp, and McKenzie Blackwell; a great-grandson, Keller McClary; a brother, Jacky Polson and wife Angie; a sister, Mary Catherine Donahue; and a special friend, Kimberly Belanovich.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Joel Polson; and a special friend, Wanda K. Williams.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the Peacock - Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles A. Drew officiating.
