DECEASED: Mrs. Vonzile “Von” Jordan, age 73, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at her home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Clanton Plains Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 12:00 – 1:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Jordan was born February 12, 1942 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Coyt and Essie Estelle Cassidy Atkinson. She was co-owner and operator of Jordan’s Landscaping, and a faithful lifelong member of Clanton Plains Baptist Church. She loved her Lord, and faithfully served Him through her church and in her community. Von enjoyed cooking, and sharing with her neighbors and friends when there was a need. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Brigman; son, Lennie Rivers; granddaughter, Lori Miles; and 1 grandson, Micheal Gulledge.
