FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT: to follow in the David's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

VISITATION: is 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Adams was born February 5, 1936, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late William Coyt "Bill" and Kathleen Myers Adams. He was a retired employee with the Chesterfield County Road Department and a member of David's Grove Baptist Church. Lafond was a talented musician, and loved playing the steel guitar, acoustic guitar, dobro, mandolin, fiddle, and banjo. He also enjoyed flea markets. In addition to his parents, Lafond was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Adams Jordan, 5 brothers, Dorsey, Murrie, Jerry, Olin, and Danny Adams and by 2 sisters, Ramona Cassidy and Margie Adams.
