HISTORY: Mr. Polson was born August 3, 1934 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Walker and Lucille Jordan Polson. He was a painting contractor with Polson Brother's Painting for 50 years. Mr. Polson was a member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church. Red was an avid racing fan and car enthusiast. In addition to his parents, Red was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Ray Graves, and by a brother, Otis L. Polson.
