Mr. Wallace Wayne Turnage, age 66, died Thursday, September 29, 2016. Graveside services will be 6:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2016 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery in Patrick, SC by Brent Taylor with burial to follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the home, any time after 3:00 PM

Mr. Turnage was born December 21, 1949 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Wade Tilman “Wallace” and Newell Leverne Graves Turnage. Mr. Turnage was the owner and operator of Turnage Tire in Society Hill, SC for over 25 years, and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Wayne enjoyed fishing and cooking.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was also preceded in death by 5 sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Byrd Turnage of the home; son, Kevin Wayne (Jennifer) Turnage of Monroe GA ; 3 brothers, Ronnie (Gertrude) Turnage of Chesterfield SC, Joe (Kathy) Turnage of Pageland SC, and Steve (Sandra) Turnage of Cheraw SC; 3 sisters, Linda (Robert) Davis, Karen Melton, and Denise Conrad, all of Chesterfield SC
