Wanda McIntyre Faulkenberry

          Mrs. Wanda Jordan-McIntyre Faulkenberry, age 71, entered into rest on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Reverend Wayne Hodge and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Douglas Mill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

          Mrs. Faulkenberry was born August 9, 1951 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Randolph and Sarah Bell McIntyre. She was a former employee of Lear’s IGA of Chesterfield, and enjoyed playing bingo and poker games on her computer. Of all things she enjoyed, time with her family was of most importance.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Faulkenberry was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Faulkenberry; brother, Ed McIntyre; sister, Judy Collins; daughter, Karen F. Tarlton; companion of many years, Ray (Buddy) Rogers.

          Survivors include her daughter, Donna Kay Faulkenberry of McBee, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Heather Tarlton, Christy Tarlton, and Liberty Watts; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Franklin (Vicky) McIntyre, and John McIntyre; sisters, Margaret (Lynn) McLain, and Katie (Gene) Dixon.
