Mr. Warren Douglas “Chubby” Privette, age 63, entered into rest on Friday, April 28, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 PM Monday, May 1, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Privette was born May 9, 1953 in Rock Hill, SC a son of the late Henry Lee and Grace Bradley Privett. He was employed with Distribution Construction Company as a truck driver. Mr. Privette was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, and his favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also an avid Carolina Panthers fan.

In addition to his parents, Chubby was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wesley and Jerry Privett; and 1 sister, Naomi Hindle.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Debra R. Privette of the home; 2 sons, Jabbo (Renee) Privette of Mills River, NC, and Jeff (Jessica) Privette of Etowah, NC; 3 grandchildren, Jordan Privette, Clay Privette, and Chase Privette; siblings, Betty Fagin, Gladys (Joe) Cook, Sylvia (Bob) Baker, Linda (Tim) Potter, and Grady (Hazel) Privett all of Rock Hill, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made in memory of Mr. Privette to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605; or to any Emergency Medical Service; or to a charity of one’s choice.
