FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Pageland, SC

VISITATION: will be 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2015 prior to the service at the funeral home.

HISTORY: Mr. Parks was born February 21, 1949 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Webster Parks, Sr. and Ethel Mae McLain Parks. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired employee of Carolina Landscape of Pageland with 12 years of service. J.R. enjoyed drag racing and fast cars. In addition to his parents, J.R. was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Huguley Parks, sister, Louise Parks Hurst; and brother-in-law, Jerry Deese.

2 Grandsons: Alan and Austin Parks
1 Sister: Doris Deese of Patrick, SC
