William "Chad" Goodale

Cheraw, SC

          Mr. William Chad Goodale, age 47, entered into rest on Saturday evening, June 17, 2023. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Reverend Steven McLain and Bro. Tommy Bailey with burial to follow in the St. John Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

          Mr. Goodale was born December 3, 1975 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of Sylvia Ann Skipper Goodale and the late Leroy “Pedro” Goodale, Jr. He was a dedicated employee of Furr Grading & Paving with over 25 years of service. Chad was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. Other than spending time with his children, his favorite hobby was “digging in the dirt!”

          Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Regina West Goodale; children, Preston Samuel, and Sophie Claire; mother, Sylvia Ann Goodale of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Sherry Goodale of Conway, SC, Tracey (Chucky) Roscoe of Cheraw, SC, and Christi Fleming of Lexington, SC; special aunt, Alice St. Laurent of Lexington, SC; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ted & Mazel West of Cheraw, SC; brother-in-law, Ted West, Jr.; sister-in-law, Ryan West both of Cheraw, SC; nieces, Emmie (Chris) Andrews and their daughter, Payton; Eliana Fleming; and Emily West; nephew, Bradley Wells; and his extended family at Furr Grading & Paving.
