INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Horne was born September 19, 1924, in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late William Thomas and Sarah Gibson Horne. He was a G.M. Certified Master Mechanic who could repair motors and tractors of any size. Mr. Horne was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and a member of Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314 for over 60 years. Gettys was an active member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church having served as former deacon and various other church positions. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack D. Horne; a sister, Nevadelle Sellers; and a grandson Will Gettys Horne, III

Wife of 59 years: Virginia Davidson Horne of the home

2 Sons: William Gettys Horne, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Ruby, SC
And Aaron R. Horne of the home

1 Daughter: Wendy Horne Hatchell and husband Jamie of Florence, SC

1 Sister: Ozie Bell Sellers of Ruby, SC
