DECEASED: Mr. William R. “Bobby” Lively, age 71, entered into rest on Thursday, February 25, 2016

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cheraw, SC

VISITATION: 2:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Lively was born June 9, 1944 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late William Parker Lively and Nellie Stafford Lively Martin. He was a former employee of JP Stevens and was a retired welder and pipefitter foreman with Fluor Daniel Construction Company with 30 years of service. Bobby was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. Mr. Lively also received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.He was a faithful member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and usher. Bobby was an avid marksman and enjoyed going to the gun range with his special friend, Leverne Stafford. He also enjoyed feeding and watching birds.

Wife of 51 years: Linda Hill Lively of the home
1 Daughter: Trina Lively (Brett) Stafford of Conway, SC
Aunt: Cubie Jean (Gene) Hill of Florence, SC
Nephew: Fred Hill of Chesterfield, SC
Numerous Cousins and his Special Cat: “Speedy”
