William J. Wallace, Sr.

Cheraw, SC

On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, William J Wallace Sr, beloved husband and father, passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 71 years. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Forest Pine Church by Rev. Danny Malloy, Rev. Ricky Malloy, Sr., and the Honorable Rev. Richie Yow with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home and other times at the home of Rev. Danny & Teresa Malloy, 7761 Teals Mill Road, Cheraw, SC.

William was born and raised in Cheraw, SC, the son of the late Jasper and Martha Lee Boan Wallace. He was a retired employee of Delta Mills with 41 years of service. Mr. Wallace was a devout follower of Jesus, who modeled integrity, humility, and love. He was a member of Forest Pine Church, a former deacon, and Sunday school teacher.

In addition to his parents, William was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Wallace.

William will be forever loved and remembered by his wife and best friend of 46 years Cindy Malloy Wallace; by their children William “WJ” Jr. (Jenifer), Crystal Yow (The Honorable Richie,) and their grandchildren RJ, and Maya.   He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family; brothers-in-law, Rev. Ricky (Geraldine) Malloy, Rev. Danny (Teresa) Malloy, and Joey (Lisa) Malloy; also numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
