Willie Faye Middleton

Mrs. Willie Faye Middleton, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She died peacefully at her home. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 1:30 until 3:00 at Macedonia Baptist Church at 3870 Johnson Road, Jefferson SC followed by a Celebration of Life service beginning at 3:00. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The funeral services will be live streamed on the Macedonia Baptist Church Facebook page.

Willie Faye was born on November 12, 1931. She was the daughter of Tom and Susie Horton of Jefferson SC. She Worked at Spring Mills in Lancaster SC for 30 years in the Personnel Office. After she retired, she enjoyed baby sitting and spending lots of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for a large majority of her life and was actively involved in her church in earlier years as a Sunday School teacher, WMU leader and choir member. Her life was a testament of her love for her family, her church family and her community. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all.

Willie Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald Middleton, granddaughter, Joy Sullivan and grandsons Travis Raley and Josh Raley.

She is survived by her children; Linda (Tommy) Sullivan, Beverly (Dennis) Raley, Steve Middleton and David (Julie) Middleton; grandchildren: Kelly (Chris) Lloyd, Tim (Jennifer) Sullivan, Jeremy (Kelly Catoe) Raley, D J (Crecia) Middleton, Katie Middleton, Kory (Kayla) Middleton and Lily Pate; great-grandchildren: Addison, Jason, Tanner, Noah, Ellie, Easton, Hayden, and Bayler. Also, survived by her brother, Marvin (Clara) Horton and numerous nieces and nephews.

  A special thanks is given to the administration and staff of Gentiva Hospice and Centerwell Home Health for the extraordinary care and support they provided.
