HISTORY: Mrs. Sims was born September 9, 1936 in Monroe, NC a daughter of the late Grady Buren and Mimie Moree Mullis. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. Willie Faye enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, puzzles, working in her yard, and cooking for her family. In addition to her parents, Willie Faye was also preceded in death by two daughters, Martha Lynne Sims and Frances Kay Sims; son-in-law Thomas E. Wright; daughter-in-law, Brenda Sims; also four sisters, Mary Jo Wallace, Betty Sue Self, Joyce Frances Mullis, and Sara Mullis.
