Mrs. Wilma Rosalie Piddock, age 82, entered into rest on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Lower Macedonia Baptist Church by Dr. Lindsay Powell with burial to follow in the Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens. The family will greets friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Piddock was born May 19, 1934 a daughter of the late John and Edna May Van Derpoel. She was a former employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing and a member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Piddock was an excellent cook, she enjoyed baking pies and cakes, and was known for her homemade donuts. She also enjoyed sewing and decorating her home for every holiday.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was also preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Widrig and the late Ralph Piddock; 4 children, Linda Sue Widrig, Kevin Widrig, Donna Widrig, and Diane God; and 1 brother, Johnny Van Derpoel.
Survivors include her children, Clarence (Nancy) Widrig of W. Franklin, PA, Michael (Amanda) Widrig of Chesterfield, SC, Gerald Widrig of Wilawana, PA, Judy (Greg) Thomas of Chesterfield, SC; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brother, William “Bill” (Goldie) Van Derpoel of Chesterfield, SC; sisters, Mary Etheridge of Dallas, TX, Patrcia (Gene) Hiduk of New Albany, PA, Carol (Scott) Moore of Troy, PA, and Gerald Lee of Lancaster, PA.
