Yvonne Nichols Woods

Mrs. Yvonne Nichols Woods, age 65, formerly of Rock Hill, SC, entered into rest on Monday, August 26, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Woods was born September 21, 1953 in Livonia, NY a daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude Burch Nichols. She was a former employee of the Tipton Nursing Home where she was a loving caregiver to many patients. Yvonne enjoyed arts and crafts. Her favorite crafting was making and drawing crosses. A selfless lady, Mrs. Woods was always putting other ahead of herself. Her greatest joy was her family, and she enjoyed time spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include her husband, Charles P. Woods, Sr. of the home; daughters, Jessica Broome of Fort Mill, SC, and Melissa (Robert) Hildreth of Patrick, SC; sons, Matt Nichols of VA and Charles P. Jr. (Ashley) Woods of Lancaster, SC; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Beverly Hughes of NY.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Regency SouthernCare Hospice for the love and care shown to Mrs. Woods and her family.
